NERVECELL Completes Writing New Album

November 24, 2010

Dubai, United Arab Emirates-based death/thrash metallers NERVECELL have completed writing the music for the as-yet-untitled new album, set for a release early next via Lifeforce Records (Europe) and Spellbind Records (Middle East).

Stated the band: "We are really thrilled that the writing process for the new album has been successfully completed and the band is eager to enter the studio next month and start recording.

"We've been working really hard on this record throughout this year and in between the tours we've had in Europe and Asia. All the pre-production for the songs are done and we're very happy with how everything has turned out for us so far.

"The new songs are sounding aggressive, fast and dark! The fans can expect a heavy dosage of old-school death metal, modern thrash metal, intertwined with our touch of Eastern melodies and brutality. Needless to say, there will be more exciting news and surprises featured on this new record to follow."

NERVECELL last year inked a deal with Lifeforce Records. The band's "Preaching Venom" CD was released in Europe on October 26, 2009.

Released in April 2008 in the Middle East (via Spellbind Records),"Preaching Venom" features PSYCROPTIC's David Haley (also of THE AMENTA, RUINS) on drums. The CD was mixed at Hertz Studio (VADER, DECAPITATED, HATE) in Poland by Wieslawscy Bros. and was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (SEPULTURA, SUFFOCATION, UNEARTH) in New Windsor, New York.
